4.2.1945 - 11.2.1945 Roosvelt, Churchill and Stalin meet at Yalta. All agreed that Germany wound not be divided after the war, but remained in occupation zones (which included France) until it could be unified. Stalin promised to hold free elections in Poland and help out with Japan.
